Monty Cholmeley added to the Griffin of Easton offering when he opened his Artists’ Materials shop early in 2025 at The Courtyard in Easton. Since then, he has become the go-to place to buy serious art supplies, both for experts and for beginners.

An artist himself, Monty now runs workshops to help you unlock your artistic potential. Whether you’re taking your first steps in art or looking to refresh your skills, his engaging workshops offer the perfect introduction to art in a welcoming, supportive setting.

Perfect for beginners, this hands-on workshop will help you understand the fundamentals of colour mixing — both on your palette and directly on paper. All materials are provided, so you can dive right in and explore your creative side.
