Griffin of Easton, the place for fine stationery and artists’ materials, has now opened its doors in the Courtyard at Easton Walled Gardens.

The shop is designed as a haven of creativity, craftsmanship and inspiration. We have free parking and a coffee shop in the corner of the pretty courtyard opposite the shop. We sell stationery brands including Kaweco, Travelers Notebooks and Leuchtturm. We stock artists materials from Wallace Seymour, Rosa, A Gallo and the finest papers and brushes.

For Lovers of Writing & Fine Stationery

If you find joy in a beautifully bound notebook or the feel of a fountain pen on smooth paper, you’ll discover an irresistible selection of fine stationery. Our suppliers include Tom’s Studio, Kaweco and TWSBI and Crown Mill and Cambridge Imprint papers as well as a range of notebooks and japanese washi tape.

For Artists & Makers

For those who appreciate tools of true quality, the old clock tower houses our carefully sourced range of professional artists’ materials. Explore Wallace Seymour and A Gallo paints, exceptional papers and brushes from the UK and beyond, Sennelier pastels and inks, Caran d’Ache luminance and watercolour pencils – all chosen to support both serious practice and joyful experimentation. Our range of sketchbooks includes Fabriano, Magnani and Pith sketchbooks made in Berwick upon Tweed.

We also stock an inspiring mix of children’s authors, naturalists’ handbooks, and cookery titles to spark creativity across every generation.

Plan Your Visit

Griffin of Easton is open during our usual garden opening hours. Like The Courtyard Shop and The Coffee Room, it can be visited freely without a garden ticket. If you love London stationery and art shops but can’t make it to the capital we are a great alternative to visiting London. Find us in the middle of England, just off the A1.
